As an important component of global food safety, the control of antibiotic residues, mycotoxins, pesticide residues and adulteration in food and animal-derived products remains a major concern to public health. To promote technological exchange and strengthen international collaboration in these areas, BIOEASY successfully organized the 6th BIOEASY Global Food Safety & Animal Health Summit in ShenZhen, China.

The summit brought together experts, researchers, and industry partners from China, Türkiye, India, Russia, Belgium, South Africa, Indonesia and Ecuador. Through keynote presentations, technical sessions, product demonstrations and field visits, the event focused on current challenges in food safety monitoring and the advancement of rapid testing technologies.

Technical Exchange and Industry Insights

During the summit, BIOEASY shared its latest innovations in rapid detection technologies, including solutions for antibiotic residues, mycotoxins, pesticide residues and microbiological contamination. The 30-minute rapid testing workflows, automated platforms, and integrated data management systems were introduced to demonstrate how rapid methods can support efficiency, accuracy and on-site decision-making.

Experts from various research institutions also presented insights on emerging analytical technologies, intelligent laboratory management, molecular diagnostics, and global screening trends. Representatives from several countries shared local case studies, highlighting challenges such as decentralized milk collection, changes in contamination patterns and the need for practical, field-ready testing tools.

At the conclusion of the summit, BIOEASY signed four international cooperation agreements with partners from Türkiye, India and Ecuador. These agreements covered antibiotic residue screening programs, customized mycotoxin and pesticide residue testing solutions, and collaborative projects such as establishing regional milk testing networks. The partnerships aim to enhance local testing capabilities and promote standardized monitoring practices in different regions.
